Prior to founding Randels Injury Law, Maggy worked at two prominent Atlanta area injury firms for the better part of a decade. Since 2020, she has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, an honor given to only 2.5% of the lawyers in Georgia. 2024 marks her fifth year being recognized. Maggy has also been recognized as one of Georgia Trend's Legal Elite, named in Best Lawyers in America -- Ones to Watch, and is a member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.Â
Maggy started her career learning how to serve injured victims by understanding the ins and outs of the court system as a law clerk to then-Chief Judge Thomas W. Thrash, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Next, she learned how large defense firms handle injury cases by working for one of the largest defense firms in the world.
Outside of the office, Maggy is dedicated to the community. Since law school graduation, she has served as a mock trial coach in some capacity. First, she helped restart the mock trial program at Atlanta's Westminster Schools. Since 2018, she has served as the head coach for the Georgia State University undergraduate mock trial team. Maggy is also a member of the board of directors for the American Mock Trial Association.Â
Since 2020, Maggy has been a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association's Executive Committee, serving as chair of the New Lawyers Division, the Communications Committee, and the Women's Caucus.
