The greatest love of my life is my family. I am also very passionate about my work. I focus my practice on helping persons injured or in other difficult circumstances.

I am also grateful to have the opportunity to serve in our community. I am currently serving as the President- Elect of the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association, as well as a Board of Directors Member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. I am a Board Member of the Kids of the Kingdom Episcopal School in San Antonio, a member of the American Bar Association, a member of the American Association for Justice and have volunteered as a child advocate.

I use litigation and the courthouse to speak for those who otherwise might go unheard. I was raised in Pearsall, Texas, graduating from Pearsall High School in 1992 as the Class Salutatorian. I went on to graduate from the University of Texas at Austin in May 1996, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Learning and Development (and Texas teaching certification). I taught 8th grade Math and Algebra at Pearsall Junior High School.

After two years of teaching, I enrolled at St. Mary’s Law School, where I wrote for The Scholar Law Review on Minority Issues, and was a legal research and writing teacher's assistant, a member of the Board of Advocates, and an officer of the Hispanic Law Students Association. I graduated from St. Mary’s Law School in 2001.

I began my legal career by helping workers, representing hundreds of injured workers in workers compensation claims—from the initial claims stage and Benefit Review Conferences through Contested Case Hearings and Appeals. My practice evolved over the last ten years and now focuses on personal injury and insurance dispute litigation. In 2010, I joined my husband to form the firm, Wasmiller Cordova, Attorneys at Law.

I am grateful for the education and the abilities to continue serving others. My practice has brought many opportunities to help individuals and it is my hope to be a conduit of compassion and understanding when you contact our office. It is my purpose to assist those injured and help each of my clients regain a sense of stability, well-being and peace through a thorough legal plan, candid discussion, compassion and understanding.
