Marine Davtyan is the founding attorney of M and M Law Group, where she represents clients in personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, product liability, medical malpractice, lemon law, as well as more specialized areas including catastrophic personal injury, elder abuse, financial abuse, and wrongful death cases. Her practice focuses on securing maximum recoveries for clients who have suffered injuries due to the negligence of others and holding responsible parties accountable for their actions.
Marine's legal career began in insurance defense, where she represented individuals and major corporations in premises liability cases, landlord-tenant disputes, habitability issues, sexual assault claims, and wrongful death lawsuits. This defense background gives her comprehensive understanding of litigation tactics and upper-hand knowledge of how insurance companies approach and defend claims.
In 2023, Marine transitioned to plaintiff's personal injury practice as an associate at a prominent firm, where she represented clients in high-stakes personal injury cases. She quickly distinguished herself through her meticulous case development, effective courtroom presence, and proven track record of securing substantial settlements and jury verdicts. Her commitment to representing injured individuals and relentless pursuit of justice earned her recognition as a skilled litigator who consistently achieved favorable outcomes for her clients.
Marine graduated with honors from the University of Southern California with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, where she excelled both academically and in advocacy work. As a Moot Court finalist, she demonstrated outstanding oral argument skills that serve her well in today's practice. During law school, Marine gained prosecutorial experience as a clerk at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office in the major crime division, where she developed her trial abilities and solidified her drive toward seeking justice.
Even before passing the bar examination, Marine highlighted her devotion to public service by volunteering at the Bet Tzedek Federal Tax Clinic. There, she assisted individuals with tax-related challenges including ITIN applications, Economic Impact Payments, and basic tax filing assistance, helping underserved community members navigate bureaucratic processes.
Marine maintains active membership in the Armenian Bar Association and the Armenian Women's Bar Association, reflecting her motivation to support the Armenian legal community and mentoring the next generation of Armenian attorneys.
