Matt Capacete is an associate with Cohen, Placitella & Roth, who specializes in representing catastrophically injured clients in a diverse range of complex cases, including medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, and other professional negligence.
Before joining the firm, Matt worked at a prominent Philadelphia plaintiff’s firm where he generated significant recoveries on behalf of his clients and tried multiple cases to jury verdict. He previously served as an Assistant District Attorney, where he successfully represented the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and crime victims as lead counsel in numerous jury trials and bench trials.
Matt currently serves as a part-time adjunct professor of trial advocacy at the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, where he previously graduated cum laude. He also received his undergraduate degree from Temple University.
Matt is admitted to practice in the state court of Pennsylvania as well as the Federal District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Middle District of Pennsylvania, and Western District of Pennsylvania.
