Matthew King was born in Dillon, South Carolina and raised in Lake View, South Carolina. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina. Following undergrad, Matthew moved to Atlanta, Georgia, to pursue his law degree. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Emory Law School and is admitted to practice in the State of South Carolina. Outside of the office, Matthew enjoys spending time running, going to the gym, exploring downtown Charleston, and spending time with his dog, Tali.
