Maureen L. Goodman has been exposed to plaintiff's personal injury law her whole life. Growing up with a father who is a successful personal injury lawyer, some of Maureen's earliest memories are of her dad working nights and weekends preparing for trial fighting on behalf of severely injured clients. She saw the pride and joy he experienced helping these victims get the compensation they deserved and Maureen knew at a young age that she wanted to follow in his footsteps.
APPROACH TO HELPING CLIENTS
Maureen carefully assists her clients through the entire process of filing a personal injury claim, from working with insurance companies to ensure that her clients are getting all the medical treatment and benefits to which they are entitled, to ultimately litigating their claims against the at-fault parties. She handles all types of personal injury claims.
EDUCATION
After graduating with a B.A. from the Honors Program at Boston College and a J.D. from the Boston College School of Law, Maureen returned home to New Jersey and clerked at the United States Federal District Court, District of New Jersey, for the Hon. Dennis M. Cavanaugh, U.S.D.J.
PAST EXPERIENCE & ACHIEVEMENTS
As a Woodbridge personal injury lawyer then spent 3 years at a highly respected large law firm in northern New Jersey before joining her father and brothers at Palmisano & Goodman, P.A. Maureen was selected to the New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Star list in 2012 and 2016. She currently serves as the Chair of the Civil Trial Committee for the Middlesex County Bar Association. Maureen now lives in Westfield with her husband, Charles, and two young daughters, Caroline & Colette. Maureen spends her free time volunteering at her daughters' pre-school, leading the Daisy troop, and cheering for her girls at swimming and softball.
