After graduating from Indiana University-Bloomington in 2016, she moved to Colorado and immediately started working in personal injury. She has extensive experience in matters involving motor vehicle collision, wrongful death, trucking, products liability, medical malpractice, and insurance bad faith. She cut her teeth working on cases that became some of the largest verdicts in their respective jurisdictions, and her teammates would refer to her as the “toy bulldog” for being tiny but mighty. Her career verdicts total over $48M.
As a Partner at Krivit Law, Melanie brings her experiences of working on large cases to each of her clients and works tirelessly as a zealous advocate. In her free time, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband, their two border collies, their two cats, along with camping and hiking.
