Since the beginning of his legal career, Fresno Criminal and DUI Attorney Michael E. Mitchell has been on your side. With over a decade of experience, Mr. Mitchell will fight for your rights in both state and federal courts. Before beginning his private practice, Michael E. Mitchell worked for Fresno County's Alternate Defense Office (Barker and Associates). Mr. Mitchell is also a former member of the Central California Appellate Panel (CCAP), where he gained several years of experience handling serious criminal appeals for defendants in the Third and Fifth District Court of Appeals.

Mr. Mitchell was, formerly, of counsel to one of the largest DUI Law firms in the country. Mr. Mitchell is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the California DUI Lawyers Association, the Fresno County Bar Association, and regularly attends Criminal and DUI seminars to increase his knowledge in his area of expertise. Along with his active memberships, Mr. Mitchell is admitted to the Federal Courts (Central and Eastern Districts of California), and the California Supreme Court.

Mr. Mitchell has also been referenced in several local and national newspaper and broadcast news segments, including the Fresno Bee, ABC News, NBC Bay Area, McClatchy DC Bureau, to name a few. He has experience representing client's accused of serious offenses such as murder, federal export violations, sexual assault offenses, and gang offenses. He also routinely handles criminal allegations, such as domestic violence, drunk driving, and lesser misdemeanor crimes. Whether the crime is big or small, Mike Mitchell can handle it all.
