Michael Plank’s passion for law is deeply rooted in his family’s journey. Born in rural Elko, Nevada, and raised in Boise, Idaho, he grew up inspired by the determination of his maternal family, who immigrated to the United States from Mexico in search of education and opportunity. Driven by a desire to use his knowledge to help others, he followed the footsteps of his aunts and uncles and pursued a career in law.
After graduating from Boise State University, Michael was honored with an academic scholarship to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law. While in law school, he gained invaluable experience as an extern for both state and federal judges, giving him a front-row seat to courtroom advocacy and judicial decision-making. Watching top litigators in action shaped his approach to legal strategy, and he continues to refine those skills to stay at the cutting edge of legal practice.
Since becoming an attorney, Michael has dedicated his career to representing injured individuals, advocating for those who need a strong voice in their fight for justice. His natural ability to negotiate and communicate effectively has made a real difference in his clients’ lives, helping them secure the best possible outcomes. In an environment that can often be aggressive and high-stakes, Michael approaches every case with calm professionalism, compassion, and a steady focus on results. His natural ability to connect with people—whether clients, opposing counsel, or judges—has been key in building trust and achieving success.
Outside of the courtroom, Michael is always up for an adventure. Whether cycling, hiking, or exploring new destinations, he enjoys spending his free time outdoors with his wife, Pamela.
