Michael Takla is a passionate trial attorney with a focus on 18-wheeler litigation, catastrophic injury, and maritime. After graduating magna cum laude from Texas A&M University in College Station, Michael went on to study at the University of Houston Law Center.
Michael has represented injured clients against some of the biggest insurance companies and corporations in the United States. He has worked on teams that tried numerous multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements.
His goal in every case is simply to outwork, outperform, and outsmart the other side.
His reason for becoming a plaintiff personal injury attorney is sadly all too common: after his father suffered a heart attack, the medical bills mounted to over $500,000. The health insurance company denied his father’s claim and tried to stick his father with the bill. A junior in high school, Michael fought and got the insurance company to accept the coverage while his father recovered. The insurance company paid for all the medical bills incurred. At this point, Michael realized his calling- to be a warrior for individuals injured by the negligence of others. He works tirelessly to ensure that his clients do not have to deal with this experience alone and provides excellent results for his clients.Â
When he’s not working on a case, Mr. Takla, can be found rooting on the Texas Aggies, Houston Texans or boxing in his free time.
