Michie Kuhlman is a dedicated trial attorney, and her practice focuses on helping the injured. She prides herself on being devoutly committed to her clients and fiercely advocating on their behalf. After earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming College of Law, Michie worked as a transactional attorney, drafting contracts and estate documents. Although she enjoyed her work in trusts and estates, upon joining Hadfield Stieben & Doutt, she quickly found her true passion in standing up for individuals and families facing life-altering injuries, ensuring they receive the justice and compensation they deserve.
Michie rapidly established herself as a compassionate yet formidable presence in the courtroom, and she has successfully steered multiple jury trials to verdict. Her success in the courtroom is a result of her meticulous preparation, tenacity, and a deep sense of empathy for her clients’ experiences.
As a third-generation attorney, Michie carries forward a proud family legacy of legal service in the community she grew up in. Her passion for helping people with their legal issues is matched by her deep roots in the Fort Collins community, where she continues to build her practice and her reputation as a compassionate, effective litigator – one case at a time.
Michie lives in Loveland with her husband and their young son. Her husband is an Orthopedic Trauma PA at Northern Colorado Medical Center. Michie and her husband love to travel the world and explore the outdoors. During the summer months, they spend the majority of their free time in the mountains or paddleboarding on Horsetooth. Michie is an avid runner and has completed multiple half-marathon races around Northern Colorado and a full marathon in Moab, Utah. During the week, she plays in a women’s volleyball league and a coed sand volleyball league. Although she stays busy with work and play, her favorite thing to do is to spend time with her family.
