Educational Foundation & Early Career
Attorney Joya earned his degree in Political Science from the prestigious University of Florida in 2008, where he graduated with honors and also obtained his J.D. from Florida International University College of Law. During law school, he served as a member of the immigration clinic and clerked for the Honorable Judge Jose Rodriguez who was appointed to the bench by Jeb Bush. Joya dedicated his studies and experience to develop his courtroom skills that would later make him one of Florida’s most formidable personal injury attorneys.
His unique international perspective was shaped by his time living in Argentina, where he developed a deep appreciation for different legal systems and cultural approaches to justice. This experience, combined with his fluency in both Spanish and English, allows him to connect with Florida’s diverse community and provide exceptional representation to clients from all backgrounds.
