Although I always knew I wanted to have my own law firm, I knew that I had to gain the experience to provide my clients with superior service, and not just be an average lawyer. Before starting Razavi Law Firm, I worked for and gained experience at a large civil defense firm, representing auto insurance carriers in personal injury, medical malpractice, trucking, and wrongful death claims. Working for the “other side” gave me the insider information and knowledge to handle your personal injury or wrongful death claim quickly and effectively. I know the tricks used by auto insurance carriers to shortchange your claim, and know how to put pressure on the carrier and make the adjuster want to resolve your case.
Before representing the auto carriers at the civil defense firm, I was a trial lawyer for a state-wide Plaintiff’s law firm, where I was one of the only trial lawyers, handling all the cases that ended up before a judge or jury. This gave me unique experience as I had full control over how to handle a variety of cases, from minor fender-bender personal injury cases and major trucking accidents to medical malpractice claims and claims involving the wrongful death of minors. This experience allowed me to become an expert in almost every aspect of the civil litigation process.
Prior my work on both the Plaintiff and Defense sides, I was a trial lawyer for the largest criminal defense law firm in the southeastern United States, where I was responsible for an extremely large caseload of felony, misdemeanor, probation, and appeal cases, and enjoyed an almost unbeaten record at trial.
Although I was not born in Georgia, I have pretty much been raised here since I was thirteen years old. I graduated from the University of Georgia (go dawgs!) in 2008 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing, where I was a recipient of the HOPE scholarship. In 2014, I graduated from the Georgia State University College of Law with my Juris Doctor (JD), where I also spent a year as an intern at a metro-Atlanta District Attorney’s Office.
