In 1982, Mr. Salvi founded the law firm of Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. (originally The Law Offices of Patrick A. Salvi) in Waukegan, Illinois. Today, he is the sole owner, chairman, and Managing Equity Partner of Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. The firm has 20 lawyers and is supported by more than 35 staff members including paralegals, nurse paralegals and administrative assistants. Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. has convenient office locations in Chicago and Waukegan.
Mr. Salvi is one of the most prominent attorneys in the country and has been named to “Best Lawyers” for Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, and Product Liability every year since 2005. Mr. Salvi’s peers have selected him to the Illinois Super Lawyers Top 10 List every year since 2014 and Law Bulletin Media has named Mr. Salvi to three “Top Ten” lists every year since 2016. He was inducted into the Lawdragon 500 Hall of Fame in 2021 and in 2023, Mr. Salvi was the recipient of the Illinois Bar Foundation “Distinguished Award for Excellence,” which honors an individual who has made remarkable contributions to the legal community throughout their career.

In 2001, he was invited to become a fellow in the prestigious International Academy of Trial Lawyers. In 2015, Mr. Salvi was selected to the Leading Lawyers Advisory Board. He currently serves on the American Association for Justice Leaders Forum.
Mr. Salvi is a former President of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and served a three-year term (2010-2012) as Chairman on the Character and Fitness, 2nd District Committee of the Illinois Board of Admissions to the Bar. Additionally, Mr. Salvi is a former Chairman (2011-2023) and current member of the Notre Dame Law School Advisory Council and is a former adjunct faculty member at the University of Notre Dame Law School.
