Patrick Wigle is a partner at Waters Kraus Paul & Siegel in the firm’s Dallas office. Patrick concentrates his practice on representing plaintiffs involved in product liability and toxic tort cases. His work includes helping people, and the families of those who have been injured by exposure to toxic substances including asbestos, benzene, heavy metals, and other toxic materials seek recovery through the legal process. Patrick earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and he earned his Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law. In 2008, he was admitted to the State Bar of Texas. In 2017, he was accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Patrick is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association, the Texas Bar Foundation, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and the State Bar of Texas. He has been recognized by D Magazine on their “Best Lawyers in Dallas” list since 2022. Patrick holds a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rating and has been selected for recognition on the Texas Super Lawyers List in 2025, as well as Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for the from 2013-2023. He was named as one of the Top 100 Up-and-Coming Texas Rising Stars in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Patrick was also selected as an Associate Member of the Patrick E. Higginbotham American Inn of Court for the 2011 to 2012 term.

In May of 2024, Patrick obtained a record-breaking $725M verdict against ExxonMobil Corporation on behalf of a man who developed cancer as a result of benzene exposure. The jury’s verdict in that case is the largest compensatory verdict in Pennsylvania history. In 2023, Patrick obtained a record-breaking $20M verdict on behalf of a man who developed mesothelioma as a result of exposure to asbestos and industrial talc. It is the largest verdict in a Connecticut asbestos exposure case, almost eight-times higher than the second-largest Connecticut asbestos mesothelioma verdict of $2.6M.
