Attorney Peter F. Iocona is an Orange County criminal defense attorney with a practice focused on DUI defense, criminal defense, professional licensing defense, and personal injury matters. Earlier in his career, Mr. Iocona served in trial and leadership roles with the Law Office of Barry T. Simons, where he developed a strong foundation in DUI and criminal trial advocacy. From 2016 to 2025, he was a founding partner and served in executive and trial leadership roles at The SoCal Law Network. These cases focus on disciplinary exposure, administrative enforcement, and the professional consequences that can arise from conduct inside or outside the workplace.

This article was part of a lengthy series of articles by Scott Moxley of the OC Weekly regarding what had become known as the "Orange County Snitch Scandal". The article addresses the extent of Prosecutorial Misconduct in Orange County stating that "Prosecutorial cheating apparently extends to relatively minor trials, too.", which Mr. Iocona exposed in 2015 during the trial of The People of the State of California vs. Sandra Goelman.
