Philip Pendergrass has dedicated his practice solely to representing individuals who have suffered serious personal injuries due to the wrongful acts of others. He focuses his practice on dangerous drugs, defective medical products, auto and trucking accidents, premises liability cases, and serious personal injury claims. As the owner of The Pendergrass Law Firm, Philip invests great care and attention to detail in his zealous pursuit to deliver justice and maximum compensation for his clients. Mr. Pendergrass is not only committed to his clients, but to Georgia citizens as a whole. He is a PAC Board member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA) where he was also selected to serve as a Lead member in 2020. Every year since 2017, Philip Pendergrass has been nominated by other attorneys as a Super Lawyer Rising Star, a recognition only achieved by the top 2% of attorneys in the state. He is also a member of both the Gwinnett Bar Association and the DeKalb Bar Association.
In law school, he was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, Student Bar Association, Public Defender Clinic, and a student attorney in the Public Interest Practicum. During his summer breaks and part-time during his semesters, he worked as a law clerk with one of the country’s most well-known plaintiffs’ firms. He assisted the firm in representing clients from across the country in litigation against some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers.
Philip Pendergrass grew up in the Atlanta area. He attended Providence Christian Academy in Lilburn, GA, where he was a pitcher on the varsity baseball team. He continued to pursue his love for baseball into college before an injury ended his playing career. Philip graduated from Augusta State University, renamed Augusta University, before earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia.
Philip and his wife and daughters live in Peachtree Corners. When not working, he enjoys cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves, playing golf, traveling, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends.
