Richard Hricik, licensed in both South Carolina and Ohio, practices in both State and Federal Court in the areas of Personal Injury, Auto & Trucking Accidents, Workers Compensation, Medical Malpractice; and Litigation in areas such as Insurance Claims, Real Estate and Business Disputes.
Richard received his B.B.A. in Accounting from Cleveland State University cum laude, in 1989 and his J.D. from The College of William & Mary - Marshall-Wythe School of Law in 1993 where he was awarded the Order of the Barristers for outstanding oral advocacy. In law school he clerked for the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Attorneys Office - Felony Trial Division in Washington, DC.
Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Richard worked for the prestigious firm of Reminger & Reminger before relocating to the Charleston area to join the faculty of Charleston Southern University where he taught on both the graduate and undergraduate levels in the areas of criminal justice and constitutional law.
Following teaching, Richard was Of Counsel to McCoy Law Offices, then was invited to become a partner with Nicholas Clekis and formed Clekis & Hricik, LLC in 2004, before opening The Law Offices of Richard A. Hricik, PA in late 2005.
Richard has appeared on Count-on-2 News as a legal commentator, and frequently appears on the Leo & Allison Y102.5 radio program as their Legal Analyst, addressing newsworthy legal issues. He is an active member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, Charleston County Bar and is eligible for membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
