BOULDER INJURY ATTORNEY
Robert Hoover graduated from the University of Colorado and he received his Juris Doctor from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois in 1993.
“I am a trial lawyer and the managing partner at Sloat, Nicholson & Hoover, P.C. in Boulder, Colorado. Over the last three decades, I have recovered millions of dollars in compensation for my clients. I take a deeply personal approach to every case, recognizing that each and every client’s situation is unique. I learned as a young lawyer that representing injured people requires not only legal expertise and experience, but also courtesy, compassion, competence, credibility, and dedication. Through personal experience involving a family member who was catastrophically injured, I have a unique understanding of my clients’ circumstances and am committed to absolute preparation of their cases.
The expertise needed to represent injury victims calls for a plaintiff attorney who can effectively represent their client during settlement negotiations and in the courtroom. I focus on all aspects of personal injury law throughout Colorado, including wrongful death, fires and explosions, automobile and trucking collisions, premises liability, motorcycle and bicycle accidents, and skiing accidents. My focus is on catastrophic and complex personal injury cases, including traumatic brain injuries (TBI). I am dedicated to providing strategic advice and counsel to my clients, and when necessary, to deliver results in the courtroom.
I have a hard-earned reputation of fighting for my clients and have recovered millions of dollars in compensation for them in catastrophic personal injury cases. In addition to my role at Sloat, Nicholson & Hoover, I have also served on the board of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, the state’s largest specialty bar association, served as an officer in the Illinois State Bar Association and the Pitkin County, Colorado Bar Association, and mentor young trial attorneys.”
A Lifetime of Trial Advocacy
“I focused on trial law from my first day in law school, more than 30 years ago. I began practicing law in 1993 in Chicago, Illinois and have practiced in both large and small firms during my career. I began my practice working for Patrick A. Salvi, one of the most successful plaintiff’s personal injury trial attorneys in the country. Pat taught me to appreciate the importance of the law and what it can do for injury victims. Over the years I’ve been privileged to work with Pat on other cases, and his philosophy of total preparation and dedication to clients is the most important lesson I have learned, something that I carry with me and continue to work on to the present day.”
Mr. Hoover is admitted to practice in Colorado and Illinois, the United States District Court for Colorado, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Hoover’s resume reflects his legal experience and professional credentials.
