Ryan Boyer grew up in Central Texas, attending TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas and later the University of Texas at San Antonio. Ryan earned his Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School in May 2010, followed by a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in August 2013. His advanced legal education strengthened his analytical skills and provided a strong foundation in regulatory, policy-driven, and complex legal matters.

After law school, Ryan worked extensively with local nonprofit organizations on the Edwards Aquifer Protection Program, where he played a role in the permanent preservation of more than 30,000 acres of ecologically sensitive land over the Edwards Aquifer. This work reflects his long-standing commitment to protecting Texas communities and natural resources.
Ryan then spent over 10 years practicing criminal law in Central Texas, where he represented more than 3,000 individuals charged with criminal offenses. His career included service as a border protection prosecutor, handling cases involving drug offenses, border-related crimes, and human smuggling. This extensive courtroom experience sharpened his trial skills, negotiation abilities, and deep understanding of Texas courts and juries.
