Education
Ryan Knutson is a graduate of Sonoma State University, Cum Laude (BA History, Latin American Studies, 2012), and earned JD from Golden Gate University School of Law. He was admitted to the California Bar in 2016.

Community Involvement
Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Knutson is dedicated to giving back to the community. Mr. Knutson currently serves on multiple local Bar Association Boards, volunteers his time as a pro bono attorney with the Alameda County Bar Association and their Low-Income Landlord Settlement Clinic, and provides legal advice and counsel to numerous non-profit and civil rights legal aid organizations. Mr. Knutson is also a past participant in the Bay Area Legal Incubator’s attorney development and business building program, and continues to mentor and guide young attorneys just beginning their own practices. Mr. Knutson is also committed to providing legal representation and services to those with mental illness and their families struggling with finding quality medical or psychiatric care or treatment.
