Sam is a South Carolinian and the son of a lawyer who grew up in Greenville, South Carolina. After graduating from the University of South Carolina, Sam chose to attend Charleston School of Law. Sam was admitted to practice law in South Carolina and began working with his father, litigating any case that came through the door. Although his career began in Greenville, SC, Sam moved to the “DMV” and spent most of his career litigating medical malpractice and personal injury cases in Washington, D.C. before returning to Charleston to launch Briggs Law Group.
