S. Tanner Williams
Williams & Yoho
Orange Park,
 FL

Samuel "Tanner" Williams is a founding partner of Williams & Yoho in Orange Park, Florida, where he represents individuals and families across the state in high-stakes personal injury and wrongful death litigation. When insurance companies and corporations have teams of lawyers working against his clients, Mr. Williams makes sure they have someone equally prepared and equally determined fighting for them.

Born and raised in Orange Park, Mr. Williams attended The Bolles School before earning his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Alabama in 2015. He returned to Northeast Florida to attend Florida Coastal School of Law, graduating in 2018 with his Juris Doctor and Pro Bono Honors — a distinction awarded for exemplary service to the community.

Mr. Williams was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2018 and began his legal career at a prominent Jacksonville firm, where he focused on automobile accidents, trucking and commercial motor vehicle crashes, wrongful death, premises liability, and insurance bad faith. In 2021, he co-founded Williams & Yoho with the goal of providing personalized, client-centered representation in a field often dominated by larger practices.

Licensed in all Florida state and federal courts, Mr. Williams is recognized for meticulous preparation, the ability to navigate complex litigation, and an unwavering commitment to fighting as hard in the courtroom as he does at the negotiating table. That commitment is reflected in his results. Mr. Williams has built a consistent record of six-figure recoveries, secured settlements at twelve times policy limits, and earned a $2.6 million verdict recognized among Florida's top verdicts in 2024.

What truly defines Mr. Williams, however, is his approach to client relationships. Approachable and straightforward, he prides himself on connecting personally and authentically. Never one for stiff suits and ties (except when the courtroom requires it), Mr. Williams prefers authenticity over formality. Clients value his accessibility, clear communication, and results-focused advocacy. He believes his role is to stand alongside his clients, safeguarding their rights while treating them with the respect and candor they deserve.

Mr. Williams maintains active memberships in the Jacksonville Bar Association, Jacksonville Justice Association, Florida Justice Association (FJA), American Association for Justice (AAJ), Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys, and the Federalist Society. Through these organizations he engages in ongoing education, collaborates to improve civil justice standards, and advocates for plaintiffs' rights both statewide and nationally.

Outside the office, Mr. Williams leads a life centered on family, friends, and the natural beauty of Northeast Florida that shaped his upbringing. Northeast Florida is more than home — it is the community he is proud to serve. A proud Alabama alumnus, he spends his fall Saturdays cheering on the Crimson Tide. Away from football season, you can find him on the water, on a trail, or at the shooting range — pursuits that offer a welcome counterbalance to the intensity of litigation. Never far behind is his German Shepherd, Saban, a loyal companion on nearly every adventure.
