A proud native of the Coastal Bend, Sean Koch has built a distinguished legal career rooted deeply in the Corpus Christi community. As an alumnus of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC), Sean’s journey from a dedicated local student to a prominent legal leader exemplifies his unwavering commitment to the growth, success, and well-being of his hometown.
Sean’s legal career was launched on a foundation of unmatched academic excellence. He graduated as the valedictorian of his law school class, an honor underscored by earning an incredible 19 CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for achieving the highest grade in his courses, alongside serving as an editor for the South Texas Law Review.
Today, Sean leads the charge locally as the Managing Partner of Jones & Koch Law Firm, located on South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi. Rather than pursuing the traditional "big firm" billboard advertising model, Sean has anchored his private practice in organic, community-centric initiatives.
At Jones & Koch Law Firm, he specializes in pre-litigation personal injury resolution, championing the innovative Stream Settle platform to resolve client cases efficiently, transparently, and with minimal disruption to their lives.
For Sean, practicing law is inseparable from community service. His involvement stretches from the classroom to local grassroots initiatives. He frequently volunteers his time to speak with local youth—ranging from mentoring students at the Nueces County Courthouse during career presentations to lecturing the next generation of advocates at the TAMU-CC Pre-Law Society.
Whether he is organizing local fundraising events or delivering morning coffee and donuts to the hardworking faculty at local schools, Sean Koch remains actively invested in lifting up those around him.
Outside the office, Sean channels his relentless drive into competitive athletics, regularly challenging himself in strongman competitions, Spartan races, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Seamlessly blending elite personal injury experience with a neighbor-first private practice philosophy, Sean continues to redefine what it means to be a modern advocate and civic leader in South Texas.
