Sean O’Connor is a trial attorney at The Injury Firm in South Florida. Raised in Jensen Beach, Florida, Mr. O’Connor brings a relentless, team-first mentality to representing individuals and families who have been seriously injured due to the negligence of others. His practice focuses on personal injury and wrongful death litigation throughout the State of Florida, including motor vehicle collisions, trucking crashes, premises liability cases, catastrophic injury claims, and complex negligence actions.
Mr. O’Connor earned his Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law, where he was an active member of the Trial Team, Negotiations Team, and Caribbean Law Society. During law school, he gained valuable experience working with both governmental agencies and private law firms, including internships with U.S. Senator Marco Rubio’s Office and the United States Coast Guard.
Before attending law school, Mr. O’Connor earned a Bachelor of Science degree in International Transportation and Trade from SUNY Maritime College in New York City, where he played wide receiver for the Privateer football team and received NCAA academic honors. His background as a collegiate athlete continues to shape the discipline, preparation, and competitive mindset he brings into the courtroom and to every case he handles.
Prior to joining The Injury Firm, Mr. O’Connor practiced both commercial litigation and plaintiff’s personal injury litigation in South Florida. He ultimately dedicated his practice to representing injured individuals and families, developing a reputation for aggressive advocacy, detailed case preparation, and a human-centered approach to trial work. Through settlements and verdicts, Mr. O’Connor has helped recover millions of dollars on behalf of injured clients across Florida. He has first-chaired and second-chaired numerous jury trials and prides himself on being fully prepared to take cases to verdict when necessary.
Mr. O’Connor is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
