Shannon Ramos is a litigator. She has a solid reputation in the legal community with both Courts and colleagues locally. Early on, she was nicknamed “El Toro”, meaning “The Bull” in Spanish. Before law, Shannon was recruited by UCDMC, where she worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. She was the editor of an article in the American Medical Journal. Shannon graduated "magna cum laude" from CSU Stanislaus.
Shannon was recruited by the Maurer School of Law in Indiana, where she received a full scholarship with a stipend. She is credited as an editor of an article published in the Harvard Law Review.
Shannon clerked for Judge Patrick Zika in the Alameda County Superior Court and at Barnhart & Sturgeon. In the Inmate Legal Assistance Project, she met with inmates to provide free legal services at a Federal Maximum Security Prison.
In 2013, Shannon founded her own law firm, Mason Law, P.C., in Sacramento, where she has been practicing since its inception.
