Shellie A. Patscheck was born and raised in San Juan County. She graduated from Piedra Vista High School, San Juan College, and Fort Lewis College. She attended law school at the University of New Mexico School of Law, where she graduated cum laude in 2011.

Shellie is a former Senior Trial Attorney with the San Juan County District Attorney’s Office. During her time at the D.A.’s office, she handled a range of felony cases, up to and including first-degree murder cases. Shellie was named “Outstanding Prosecutor of the Year” for the 11th Judicial District in 2013. She was named “Domestic Violence Prosecutor of the Year” for the State of New Mexico in 2014. After leaving the D.A.’s office in 2015, the District Attorney requested Shellie be appointed as a special prosecutor to try a three-week-long First Degree Murder trial.

Shellie joined the Titus & Murphy Law Firm in 2016, where she tried over 30 jury trials and honed her skills in the courtroom. She has argued and won cases in front of the New Mexico Supreme Court and has filed appellate briefs in both the New Mexico Court of Appeals and the New Mexico Supreme Court.

Shellie thought her clients and the residents of San Juan County deserved more personal attention from a lawyer who understands their needs and who’s ready to go the extra mile. Legal problems should not define or limit a person’s life, and that’s why Patscheck Law clients are treated with respect and compassion from start to finish.

Whether you’re facing criminal charges, a severe personal injury, or a workers’ comp claim, Patscheck Law, P.C. fights for people like you.
