Steven M. Bronson was named Public Justice Foundation's '2012 Trial Lawyer of the Year'. He was also named '2011 Lawyer of the Year' and '2009 Lawyer of the Year Honoree' for the State of Missouri, by Missouri Lawyers Media. Other recognition includes being named a Young Attorneys Finalist in 2012, and a Top Attorneys Semi-Finalist in 2013 among all San Diego attorneys by The Daily Transcript.

In 2014 he was selected to Super Lawyers for Missouri. In 2015, he was selected as a member of the Nation's Top One Percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel, an organization dedicated to promoting the highest standards of legal excellence. He is in private practice, representing injured consumers and victims in all aspects and practice areas of plaintiff personal injury and consumer cases.

Mr. Bronson represents children exposed to toxic substances, including lead, arsenic, cadmium, and other toxins. Recently, the trial of sixteen Plaintiffs' cases for personal injuries due to toxic exposure to these chemicals resulted in a verdict of $358.5 Million for the Plaintiffs. In 2009, Mr. Bronson was lead trial attorney in a case where a drunk driver caused a collision, seriously injuring Mr. Bronson's client and killing his client's fianc? and the father of their child. The jury unanimously awarded $89,000,000.00 in damages. Click here to learn more about the trial.

He has also represented individuals in Palo Alto, California, against SmithKline Beecham Clinical Laboratories after one of SmithKline's phlebotomists re-used contaminated needles during routine blood draws. One of the individuals developed HIV and another developed Hepatitis C from the contaminated needles. Click here to learn more about this case.

Mr. Bronson was a participating attorney with a firm appointed as class counsel in Plascencia v. Lending 1st Mortgage, LLC, In re: Wachovia Corp., and several other Option ARM loan cases. These cases involve representing consumers who were defrauded into purchasing Option ARM loans, the same loans that brought the economy to the brink of economic collapse. Banks and lenders originated these loans using loan documents that failed to disclose, among other things, that the loan's principal balance was guaranteed to increase, rather than decrease, with each payment made, resulting in a loss of equity in the home.

Mr. Bronson has litigated many other types of cases, including car crash, plane crash, train crash, pharmaceutical injury and death, consumer fraud, intentional torts, slips and falls, and medical malpractice.

In addition to his private practice, Mr. Bronson volunteers his time to the public interest. In the past few years, he worked on amici briefs to the United States Supreme Court, supporting the positions of the editors of the New England Journal of Medicine in Wyeth v. Levine (click here to read the brief); the American Medical Association, American Cancer Society, and eight other national public health groups in Altria v. Good (click here to read the brief); and forty renowned marine biologists, lead by Jean-Michel Cousteau, in Exxon v. Baker (click here to read the brief). He has also received awards for completing pro bono work in San Diego.

Mr. Bronson earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin? Madison, before he undertook graduate studies at California Western School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor's Degree. He is a member of the Bars of California, Missouri, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of California. He is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades for completing

pro bono work in San Diego. He sits on the Alumni Board of Directors for California Western School of Law.
