STUART J. PURDY is a recognized trial lawyer and shareholder with Simon Greenstone Panatier, PC.
Mr. Purdy manages the firm’s California office while serving as one of the lead trial lawyers for the firm. Stuart has been instrumental in obtaining significant verdicts and settlements over the years. He primarily practices in the areas of product liability and catastrophic injury with experience in medical malpractice actions.
Stuart has been recognized repeatedly as a “Super Lawyer” since 2015. Prior to that, he was recognized as a California Super Lawyer Rising Star awarded to the top 2.5% of attorneys under 40 in Southern California. He was also an invited member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 under 40. Stuart’s verdicts have repeatedly made lists of Top Verdicts including one of the top 10 “most meaningful verdicts” in the Daily Journal in California 2013; a top 100 verdict in The New York Law Journal’s Top 100 Verdicts 2013; a top 50 verdict in California 2016 in the Daily Journal; and a Daily Journal top 20 verdict in California 2019. His trials have been included in California appellate decisions setting precedent in his field.
Mr. Purdy graduated from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. Prior to law school, Stuart attended Colorado State University where he obtained a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and graduated magna cum laude.
