Houston Middleton is a partner in our law firm. He was born in Metairie, Louisiana and raised in Mobile, Alabama. Houston obtained bachelor’s degrees from Louisiana State University and his law degree from Emory University School of Law. He practiced law with a large defense firm in Baton Rouge before joining Lundy, Lundy, Soileau, & South LLP in 2012.
Since joining the firm, Houston’s primary areas of practice have been commercial and business litigation, as well as maritime law and environmental law. He is licensed to practice before all state and federal courts of Louisiana and all state courts of Texas. Houston is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, and the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association. He also is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Louisiana Association for Justice.
Houston and his wife Lauren live in Lake Charles with their children Quinn, Elisabeth, Liam, and Patrick. The family are parishioners of the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception in downtown Lake Charles, where Houston currently serves on the Pastoral Council. In his free time, Houston enjoys spending time with his family and friends, supporting LSU athletics, and studying British and American history.
