You may have guessed that Taylor is the founding attorney of the Taylor King Law firm. He opened our first office in 1994 and has been practicing law for more than 30 years. Those who know him best would describe him as "laser-focused," which is good news for his clients and bad news for his golf opponents.
He first put down roots in Arkadelphia as a student at Ouachita Baptist University, where he received degrees in political science and history. After earning his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Taylor and his wife, Terri, moved back to Arkadelphia in 1986 and have been proud to call it home ever since!
Today, Taylor is especially proud to have two of his children, Austin and Maggie, working alongside him at the firm—continuing the family legacy of service and dedication to clients.
If you catch Taylor out of the office, he’s more than likely spending time with his family; his four grandchildren keep him busy. In the office, you can usually find him with the family’s golden retriever, Honey, who loves to greet clients.
Education/Professional History: Taylor’s professional memberships include the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, Arkansas Bar Association, American Association for Justice, and the Pound Civil Justice Institute. Over the course of his career, he has been recognized as a Lawyer of Distinction and was named among the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 in 2016.
He is licensed to practice law in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Tennessee, and Mississippi—allowing him to serve clients across the region with the same dedication and focus that have defined his more than 30 years of practice.
