Ted received his Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1975, and was licensed by the Texas Supreme Court in 1976, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas in 1976, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas in 1984, the United States Supreme Court in 1986, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas in 1993.
