Thomas J. Dickerson was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised in Overland Park, Kansas.
Mr. Dickerson started doing legal work when he was only 19 years old. At the firm of South & Associates, P.C., in Overland Park, Kansas, Mr. Dickerson assisted their head of litigation, doing work for some of the largest banks in the country. Mr. Dickerson obtained invaluable experience seeing how some of the largest corporations in the country approach legal cases against consumers.
After seeing case after case where everyday people faced insurmountable odds against big business, Mr. Dickerson decided to dedicate his career to standing up for everyday people against others that have caused them personal injury and financial harm.
With that goal in mind, Mr. Dickerson along with his wife Chelsea Dickerson, started the Dickerson Oxton Law Firm in 2010. Since that time, Mr. Dickerson has been dedicated to the representation of injury victims. He has extensive experience and has represented numerous individuals in car/motorcycle accidents, slip and falls, insurance disputes, medical malpractice, product liability cases, and consumer protection matters. He handles cases across all of Kansas and Missouri.
Most recently, in 2013, Mr. Dickerson tried and won two jury trials and settled a large insurance dispute in complex litigation resulting in the payment of over 7 million dollars in insurance proceeds.
