In particular, Tom has been at the forefront of litigation on behalf of victims of negligence by school district administrators in their hiring, supervision and retention of employees who pose a risk to students. Between 2013-2016 Tom was part of a team of lawyers who successfully obtained over $100 million in compensation for dozens of children abused by teachers at three Los Angeles Unified School District campuses.
