Tom Thrash grew up in Ashdown, Arkansas and is a 1977 graduate of Ouachita Baptist University, with a degree in Business Administration.
He graduated from the University of Arkansas, School of Law, with honors in 1980. After college, Mr. Thrash began his career at the Rose Law Firm, where he became a Senior Partner, until he left to open Thrash Law Firm, P.A. in 1998. Thrash Law Firm, P.A. specializes in Class Action, Mass Tort and Complex Litigation.
Mr. Thrash has been married to his wife, Toni Kitterman Thrash, for the past 34 years. Toni teaches 3rd grade at Forrest Park Elementary. She was the 2013 Arkansas Teacher of the Year. Tom and Toni have two sons, Thomas and Adam. Thomas and Adam are currently coaching high school football in Little Rock. Thomas has a 2-year-old daughter, Tyler, and Adam has a 1-year-old son, Johnny.
In 2000, Mr. Thrash was voted Trial Lawyer of the Year in Arkansas by ATLA, the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association. In 2018, Mr. Thrash was recognized by the National Trial Lawyers Association as a member of the 2018 Class Action Trial Team of the Year. He is a past President of Pleasant Valley Country Club and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Ouachita Baptist University. He is a member of the Ouachita Baptist University Athletic Hall of Fame (football).
