Trey Loftin is a former State District Judge of Parker County, Texas. During this time, he presided over countless family and criminal law and civil law matters cases, giving him both a deeper understanding of the law and a unique ability to provide advice and legal counsel from the prospective of the bench. Although recruited by many firms, Trey chose to resume his trial practice at Whitaker Chalk in 2013. He saw that it was filled with what he calls intellectual giants, and that this creates an extraordinary collaborative environment to help clients reach positive results. A large part of Trey's general practice and experience includes both Family and Civil Law. He has represented hundreds of divorce, child custody and support matters, and has also worked on both "small-but-personal" matters as well as immense corporate oil & gas type lawsuits and complex civil litigation.
