
Tyler Scott Calkins grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania where he learned the value of hard work, liberty, and the Constitution at a young age. He attended Lake-Lehman High School.
Attorney Calkins went on to graduate from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA, with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, and from Widener Commonwealth Law School, in Harrisburg, PA, with his Juris Doctorate.
After obtaining his law license, Attorney Calkins worked for four years in the Lycoming County Public Defender’s Office where he had the opportunity to successfully defend thousands of serious and complex cases. In August of 2024, Attorney Calkins formed Calkins & Gold, PLLC, with the sole goal of providing zealous criminal defense representation to defendants across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Private practice has taken Attorney Calkins to dozens of courtrooms across the Commonwealth defending his clients and fulfilling that dream.
Attorney Calkins is an avid outdoorsman, firearm enthusiast and endurance runner. In his spare time he can be found hunting, fishing, working out, and spending time with his wife, daughter and their cat.
