Yusuf is an experienced trial attorney and has practiced in New York for over 10 years. He has spent his career seeking justice and zealously representing his clients. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Kings County, New York, where he was a member of the trial division. There he prosecuted cases involving victims of various crimes, including sexual and physical abuse.
Following his work at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, Yusuf worked at a premier civil litigation law firm focused on personal injury defense work where he represented clients in the defense of bodily injury and property damage lawsuits. He then went on to employment litigation where he worked on Defense Base Act claims, Maritime/Transportation litigation and represented both corporate and individual clients in a broad range of complex labor and employment issues. After which, Yusuf joined Herman Law to pursue a more fulfilling legal career and help victims of sexual assaults.
Yusuf earned his bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University and his law degree from Hofstra University. He is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
