A native to the Annapolis area, Cohen & Greene partner Adam G. Cohen received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland in 2002 before earning his Juris Doctorate from Thomas Cooley Law School (Western Michigan University) in 2005.
Mr. Cohen began his legal career as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Nancy Davis-Loomis at the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court from 2005-2006. After his clerkship, he was a member of the Trial Division at Nationwide Insurance Company from 2006-2009. He joined Cohen & Greene in 2009 and has been fighting for the rights of plantiffs in the area of personal injury ever since. Mr. Cohen is also the Chairman of the Annapolis City Public Safety Disability Retirement Board in which he was appointed by the Mayor of Annapolis in 2012.
Mr. Cohen holds a BV (Distinguished) rating with Martindale Hubbel Peer Review which is “a widely respected mark of achievement, it differentiates a lawyer from his or her competition”. Mr. Cohen was selected as a Maryland Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers and was recognized as a “Leading Lawyer” in the area of personal injury in What’s Up Annapolis Magazine, which is based on peer votes. Outside of the office, Mr. Cohen enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons; playing hockey and softball; coaching youth hockey; and cheering on his favorite local sports teams.
