Andrea (Clare) Telquist – Attorney & Co-Founder of Telaré Law
Andrea Telquist was born in the small town of Libby, Montana, where she developed a deep love for the mountains, trees, winters, and the vast open skies she will always consider home. At age 10, she relocated to Pasco, Washington. Not long after, she set her sights on becoming a lawyer—a dream inspired by the attorneys who helped her family navigate the legal system during her parents’ divorce. From a young age, Andrea made it clear to everyone around her: she was going to be an attorney.
Raised primarily by her single mother, Linda (now deceased), Andrea learned the value of hard work and independence. Linda balanced three jobs to make ends meet, ensuring her children never went without. She instilled in Andrea the importance of self-reliance and encouraged her to achieve her dreams—becoming the first in the family to earn a postgraduate degree. Determined to pave her own path, Andrea worked through college to fund her education entirely on her own.
After graduating from Pasco High School, Andrea attended Gonzaga University School of Law, where she honed her legal skills and prepared for a career dedicated to advocacy. She later returned to the Tri-Cities to establish her legal practice and raise her family. Andrea is the proud mother of three amazing children—Kennedy, Canon, and her youngest “wild child,” Cruz. She treasures time spent with her kids, whether cooking gourmet meals, watching movies, or embarking on outdoor adventures. Together, they often travel to Montana, Bend, Oregon, Washington’s coastal towns, ski slopes, or the jujitsu mat.
A Passion for the Courtroom & Litigation
Andrea has always been drawn to the courtroom. Quick on her feet, she thrives in high-stakes litigation—especially cross-examinations. Since 2007, she has built extensive experience in trial work across numerous practice areas, including:
Her aggressive litigation style and deep legal expertise have earned her admissions to:
Although her case before the U.S. Supreme Court was not granted review (as only a select few of the 8,000 annual petitions are accepted), simply reaching that level of advocacy is a testament to the national significance of her legal work.
Building Telaré Law: A Commitment to Justice
From the beginning, Andrea’s passion gravitated toward representing injured individuals. She finds deep fulfillment in connecting with clients who have suffered harm and fighting for justice on their behalf. Helping people rebuild their lives after devastating injuries is not just her profession—it’s her calling.
In 2014, Andrea began practicing law alongside George Telquist. The two strong-willed attorneys, united by their love for trial work and dedication to their clients, soon fell in love with each other as well. As their shared passion for litigation grew, Telaré Law was born. The firm’s name, derived from the Italian word for "to bring together," reflects their commitment to teamwork—both in and out of the courtroom.
Telaré Law exclusively handles plaintiff cases, ensuring that those who have been seriously injured receive the highest level of legal representation. Every case is managed using a team approach, with both Andrea and George working together to present the strongest possible case at trial. This strategy has led to record-breaking case outcomes and life-changing results for their clients.
Beyond the Courtroom
When she’s not advocating for her clients or spending time with her children, Andrea enjoys jiu-jitsu, reading, traveling, and exploring the outdoors. Whether hiking, skiing, or discovering new destinations with her husband, George, she embraces every opportunity for adventure.
