Brent joined Greene Reid & Pomeroy in 2026 after returning to the Syracuse area with his family. He is a graduate of East Syracuse-Minoa High School, State University of New York at Albany (B.A. History), and Syracuse University College of Law, where he won the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award as the top advocate in his graduating class, and was admitted to the Order of Barristers.Â
While in law school, Brent was a member of the award-winning National Trial Team, where he finished as a national runner up at the American Association of Justice competition held in New Orleans, Louisiana. Since returning to Syracuse, he has helped coach the National Trial Team.Â
Prior to joining Greene Reid & Pomeroy, Brent was an equity partner in a Tier 1 U.S. News & World Report Best Law Firm for plaintiff’s personal injury. There he successfully handled all aspects of litigation, including intake, drafting pleadings, depositions, motions, trials and appeal. He also served as an Assistant District Attorney in Onondaga County handling appeals and prosecuting crimes as a member of the Special Victims Bureau. In 2008, Brent served as an Acting Justice in the Village of East Syracuse and was the youngest magistrate in the State of New York.Â
These experiences shaped Brent into a fierce advocate with a keen sense of justice. He grew up working in his family’s diner, which helps him relate to people from all walks of life. Brent is passionate about protecting the rights of the injured. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, and rooting for his three sons in football, basketball, lacrosse, and swimming.
