Chris Cowan is built to help people. He comes from a family of attorneys and started off his career at one of the largest personal injury law firms in Dallas, Texas. He has successfully squared up against both Fortune 50 companies and some of the largest international corporations. He has represented entire neighborhoods, classes or masses of claimants, as well as individuals and their families against wrongdoers. His boutique firm practices nationwide and focuses exclusively upon representing survivors of catastrophic injuries, wrongful death, and sexual trafficking.
He received his Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law where he was a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, as well as a part of the Witness/Mock Trial Team. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas, Austin, Texas, McComb’s School of Business. He served in a variety of leadership roles on campus including the campus-wide Cabinet of College Councils and chaired Students for Academic Integrity, Chair.
Mr. Cowan has filed leading causes of action, including first-of-its kind lawsuits. His efforts have resulted in record recoveries, as well as first-ever discovery orders requiring the production of secret internal corporate documentation in a variety of suits. He is a licensed motorcycle operator and enjoys the thrill of motor and snow sports. Higginbotham American Inn of Court of Dallas, Texas, a member of the Dallas Bar Association, where he served on the House Committee and Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, as well as the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Board of Directors -- Advocates. He is admitted to the State Bars of Texas and of Colorado and has appeared in various Courts nationwide including the States of Colorado, New York, California, Alabama, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and was endorsed as an expert in Canada.
