Steve Faries, a Senior Litigation Attorney, joined Mueller Law in 2018.

Steve represents clients in federal and states courts at both the trial and appellate level. He focuses on personal injury, product liability, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation’s.  Steve is involved in the firm’s ongoing catastrophic birth injury, J&J talcum powder, and Monsanto Roundup litigation’s.  As Director of Mass Torts, Steve’s team is actively reviewing and accepting new clients with cancer injuries from taking the pharmaceutical drugs Belviq/Belviq XR (weight loss drug), Zantac (heartburn/GERD drug), or Valsartan (high blood pressure drug); and with personal injuries and addiction from using JUUL E-Cig/Vape devices.

Before joining Mueller Law, Steve worked as a senior litigation attorney with several nationally recognized pharmaceutical law firms. In 2014, he was appointed to the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee for the Mirena IUD Products Liability Litigation in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, where he had chief responsibility in preparing federal and state court Mirena cases for trial.

Steve also has been recognized for his leadership in working to resolve multiple pharmaceutical multi-district/mass tort litigation’s against large pharmaceutical companies on behalf of thousands of clients. He is particularly focused on helping the many women who have been injured by defective products, pharmaceutical drugs, and medical devices. Steve has been involved in complex pharmaceutical and personal injury jury trials in Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania.

Prior to earning his law degree, Steve worked for 10 years as a financial analyst on large engineering, business systems, and financial programs, including the International Space Station Program at NASA Johnson Space Center. He earned his BBA from Texas A&M University in 1990 before securing an M.S. degree at the same school in 1994. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 2003.

Steve is licensed in Texas and admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas and the Northern District of Florida. He also is a longtime member of the American Association for Justice. Steve and his wife are parents to two wonderful children. Their son attends Tulane University, and their daughter attends The University of Texas in Austin. In addition to spending time with his family, Steve volunteers in the local school district and enjoys learning and doing home improvement projects.
