Megan Jones
Avery Injury Law
St. Louis,
 MO

Megan, a compassionate and determined advocate, was drawn to the field of personal injury law due to her strong desire to assist individuals who have suffered unjust injuries. Her primary focus lies in cultivating personal connections with her clients while diligently working towards securing fair treatment and the complete, just compensation they deserve.

During her time in law school, Megan worked as a clerk at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri in the Children's Legal Alliance. There, she provided support to families during Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and fought for equitable treatment for children with physical and learning disabilities. With firsthand experience growing up alongside a disabled sibling, Megan has been a longstanding volunteer for organizations such as the Special Olympics of Missouri, the Disabled Athlete Sports Association, and the I-Skate Program. Additionally, Megan interned at a family law firm where she drafted wills, adoption decrees, and blog articles focusing on the intricate aspects of family law matters.

Upon passing the Missouri Bar exam, Megan dedicated five years of service at the St. Charles County Counselor's office. In this role, she represented multiple municipal departments in civil defense and also served as a deputized prosecutor at the St. Charles County Prosecutor's Office, handling criminal cases and DWI charges. Megan particularly found fulfillment in her representation of the Public Administrator and involvement in the associated probate court process. Her diverse background encompasses municipal law, family law, healthcare law, civil defense, and criminal prosecution, offering a unique perspective to her work. Transitioning from representing large public entities, Megan has rediscovered her passion for advocating for individuals, as she values the opportunity to meet and understand their personal experiences on a human level.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Megan enjoys traveling with her husband, Tony, spending quality time with her dogs, indulging in reading and drawing, and showcasing her talent in creating custom-decorated sugar cookies. Megan and Tony actively contribute to charitable organizations, with a particular focus on supporting law enforcement, first responder, and military families.
