Charles R. “Rusty” Webb is a 10th-generation West Virginian and the proud son and grandson of coal miners. Growing up in Boone County, Rusty learned early the value of hard work, faith, family, and community service. Those conservative values continue to guide his life and his practice of law.
Rusty graduated from Marshall University and the WVU College of Law, becoming the only student-athlete in state history to compete at the Division I level for both Marshall (Swimming) and WVU (Crew). He went on to serve as Counsel to both the WV Senate and House Finance Committees, a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates (1996–2004), and a Charleston City Councilman.
Since founding The Webb Law Centre, PLLC, Rusty has built one of the most active mass tort and class action firms in West Virginia, representing individuals, families, cities, counties, and even the State of West Virginia itself in some of the largest cases in state history. He has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars to protect West Virginians from corporate misconduct, fraud, and environmental contamination.
A man of strong conservative principles, Rusty believes in personal responsibility, limited government, fiscal discipline, and the defense of constitutional rights. His work has always put the people of West Virginia first—whether fighting the opioid epidemic, holding corporations accountable, or defending taxpayers from fraud and abuse.
Rusty is also a philanthropist, supporting hundreds of local nonprofits, and is an avid outdoorsman who spends much of his free time on West Virginia’s rivers, kayak fishing for smallmouth bass.
