Growing up in and out of the foster care system sparked a passion in me for helping others and a desire to make the world a better place in any way I can. My desire to improve the quality of life for marginalized individuals led me to obtain a bachelor’s degree in psychology at New College of Florida. While attending New College of Florida, I developed a resilience building program for children in low-income households which was successfully implemented as a part of the Sarasota Salvation Army’s Pathway to Hope program aimed at breaking the cycle of inter-generational poverty.
After spending a year implementing the resilience building program following my graduation from New College of Florida, I decided to attend law school at Stetson University College of Law where I graduated cum laude. While at Stetson, I served as the President of the Child Advocates of Stetson Law, was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal honor fraternity, co-authored a legal rights guide for children in Foster Care titled Know Your Rights, and volunteered as a Guardian Ad Litem for children in Foster Care in Pinellas County.
Since graduating law school, I continue to dedicate time serving those in need by taking on criminal defense cases for indigent individuals pro-bono, handling over 50 criminal defense cases free of charge to my clients in the 6 years since obtaining my Florida Bar license.
In late 2022, I switched fields from practicing property loss to personal injury, and have handled a broad range of personal injury cases including motor vehicle and trucking accidents, slip and falls and other premises liability cases, general negligence cases, products liability and medical malpractice cases.
While I handle all types of personal injury cases, I have a particular passion for representing motorcyclists injured in motor vehicle accidents. I have been an active member of the motorcycle community in the Tampa Bay Area since 2022 and have since been dedicated to helping the motorcycle community by providing legal assistance and working on events that promote motorcycle safety and awareness.
