When I was nine years old, my family and I immigrated from Korea to the United States in search of better opportunities.
At eighteen, seeking greater purpose and responsibility, I enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve, and at nineteen, I put my college life on hold to serve in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War (Desert Storm).
My military service became a major turning point in my life. Through that experience, I learned patience, flexible thinking, and how to remain steady under pressure—values that continue to guide me today as I fight for clients who have been wronged.
After returning home, I entered law school and began working on business litigation, but disputes over money never resonated with me. I wanted to speak up for people facing real hardship—those who genuinely needed help.
Over time, my legal career shifted from lemon law (defective vehicle cases) to personal injury and motor vehicle accidents. My consistent calling has been to help those harmed by others stand up and fight back—whether the opponent is a dishonest car dealer or an insurance company trying to avoid paying fair compensation.
I also understand just how frustrating and overwhelming the legal system can feel. I’ve been in a car accident myself and have personally fought with insurance adjusters who tried to pay as little as possible. That’s why I approach my work with the commitment to ensure my clients never have to face that battle alone.
