Alex J. Perry represents clients victimized by medical malpractice, auto accidents or personal injuries. Prior to joining Perry Calder, Mr. Perry served as an associate attorney in the New York City office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom. There, he represented Fortune 500 companies in mass tort, insurance and consumer litigation actions in federal and state courts across the country, contributing to his department’s listing as a Law 360 2022 “Product Liability Group of the Year.” At Skadden, Alex gained invaluable trial experience working under American Lawyer’s 2022 “Litigator of the Year,” playing a supporting role on several of her trial teams that obtained winning verdicts for clients faced with lawsuits seeking hundreds of millions of dollars. At Perry Calder, Mr. Perry has individually resolved numerous cases to six-figure resolutions and resolved numerous cases to seven-figure resolutions in conjunction with other lawyers at Perry Calder.
Mr. Perry graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Prior to that, he graduated with highest distinction from the Pennsylvania State University and earned the Evan Pugh Scholar Award for finishing in the top .5% of his class. Before becoming a lawyer, Mr. Perry undertook a mini pupilage with a Queen’s Counsel barrister in London, England at XXIV Old Buildings. He also worked in the recruiting department for the Penn State football team. Mr. Perry grew up in Pittsburgh and is an alum of North Allegheny High School.
