Allan Berger is the founder of the Allan Berger & Associates law firm in New Orleans, Louisiana, established in January 1975.
For more than 45 years Allan Berger has concentrated on representing injured victims against insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, and large corporations, subscribing to the belief that the everyday person can be equal to the large corporation against him or her in the courtroom. Mr. Berger’s experience in the courtroom has resulted in him being mentioned in different articles in the Times-Picayune for cases he has successfully handled. In addition to handling automobile, maritime, and product liability cases, Mr. Berger has handled cases involving medical malpractice and pharmaceutical litigation.
Examples of pharmaceutical litigation matters that Berger has been involved with include Fen-Phen, Breast Implant, Rezulin, PPA, Vioxx, Bextra, Celebrex and Zyprexa cases.
Mr. Berger graduated from Oklahoma University in 1971 and received his JD from Loyola Law School of New Orleans in 1974. He is licensed to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts as well as in the United States Supreme Court. In addition to being a diplomate of the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys which concerns his work in the field of medical malpractice, Mr. Berger is listed as one of the Best Lawyers in Louisiana and has been designated as one of the top attorneys in the state by Louisiana Super Lawyers from 2010-2021, a New Orleans Magazine Top Lawyer, and one of the Best Lawyers in America.
