Andrew Anselmi, a partner and co-founder of the firm, is a trial lawyer with a focus on high-stakes, complex commercial litigation on behalf of corporations in matters including antitrust, employment, and franchise protection. Andrew is known for his ability to develop winning strategies for trials and other business resolutions and works collaboratively with his clients to determine the most effective advocacy tactics, which may include international and domestic alternative dispute resolution when litigation may not be the best solution. He also handles criminal and civil appellate matters and has been successful representing clients in state and federal appellate courts.
Andrew’s litigation practice includes extensive experience in shareholder and partnership disputes, and he has successfully represented corporations and individuals in partnership disputes, oppressed minority shareholder claims, and matters involving restrictive covenants.
In the area of environmental litigation, Andrew helps clients navigate the complexities of environmental laws and regulations, and among other matters, has represented a national developer in a multimillion-dollar claim instituted against suppliers of contaminated fill, ultimately recovering the cost of remediation.
Moreover, in the area of construction, Andrew handles litigation over bid contests and represents parties in construction-defect and delayed-claims matters. He is often engaged to conduct internal investigations for construction companies in connection with governmental inquiries.
In addition, Andrew represents national and international companies in defending tort and product liability actions. For example, he represented a New York supplier of industrial equipment in a product liability case brought against it in New Jersey by a chemical manufacturer from Louisiana, wherein he defeated the first-party claim and settled the third-party claim through insurance proceeds.
Andrew works tirelessly on behalf of his clients and his community to provide exceptional counsel and service. He immerses himself in each matter and becomes an important ally to his clients and a passionate advocate for protecting their businesses.
Outside of his legal practice, Andrew extends his advocacy and leadership to a wide range of civic affairs, including his current position as the Chair of the Board of Regents at Delbarton School.
